We’re going to talk about a framework for growth. This is extremely important if you have ever thought of exiting or selling your business in the next 10 years.
When it comes to scaling a business, here are the biggest things I’ve seen stopping growth:
- It’s way too complicated
- It’s way too overwhelming
- It takes too much time
And add to that, people are sold a bag of hyped-up goods and false expectations. It annoys me seeing good people being taken advantage of.
Here’s the thing I’ve found from having talked with thousands of businesses over the last 35+ years – they all have one thing in common – they all have a plan for growth, either by design or by default. For most, the plan is NOT by design.
If you try to grow and scale the traditional way, here is what you will most likely find:
- You are frustrated because of a lack of growth and can’t get to that next level
- You have had success but you are still working ridiculous hours
- You feel maxed out and have no time
- You feel exhausted like EVERYTHING depends on you and you don’t see a clear way out
